Manual Therapy is the cornerstone of my holistic wellness practice. I believe in helping the body heal through a blend of myofascial release techniques, Japanese style acupressure, and release of emotional holdings through physical movement of the body, for a complete, Mind:Body, client centered therapy practice. For more information regarding my skills and training, please visit the About section of this website, as well as the individual tabs under the Manual Therapy section, detailing the specific modalities that I practice.

I study the work of the European Osteopathy tradition in gently applying precise pressure to release restrictions and balance the body system. I work in musculoskeletal, visceral, vascular, nervous, and neuroendocrine systems, in order to facilitate whole body healing. More information is offered in the links below with regard to each specific technique I may use during a session.

I work with clients of all ages and dispositions. I enjoy working with professional athletes and weekend warriors that want to increase performance and endurance. I also work with many people processing and healing from chronic illness. I can work with any medical condition to help support your healing process, and often work as part of an integrative health team. I have specialized training in pediatric manual therapy, and am very comfortable with working with elderly clients.

I offer a sliding scale for clients that are going through my trauma release program, as well as those clients in need of financial assistance that would like to establish with me for a plan of care. Please contact me by phone or email to discuss my donation based treatment program.

Please note that Massage and Manual therapies that are billed to insurance companies are done so in units of service, based on the modalities used at the time of treatment, as well as the prescription requirements from your referring health care provider. If you intend to use insurance to pay for your treatment, please contact me prior to your treatment so that I may plan accordingly.

Thank you and I look forward to working with you in the future!
Myofascial Release includes manual movement of the web of fascia that connects everything in our body. Through hands on therapy, mobilization, and stretching, I work with the muscles, bones, viscera, and connective tissues to achieve transformation, inside and out. I practice Advanced Manual Therapy techniques as taught by the Barral Institute, Chikly Institute, as well as a blend of techniques that I have developed that incorporate the Five Elements of Eastern medical theory. I am currently practicing Hood River, OR, and available for distance consultation.
Visceral, Vascular, and Neural Manipulation I study around the world with amazing teachers that practice the body of work promoted by Jean Pierre Barral, DO PT (the Barral Institute), and Bruno Chikly, DO LMT (the Chikly Institute), as well as the traditions of Cranial Osteopathy developed by Sutherland. My practice involves gently mobilizing the organs of the body, as well as connective tissues. This work affects the fascial system, circulatory and nervous systems, neuroendocrine system, and involves gentle joint mobilization and full body integration to help you heal from a variety of illness and physical disfunction. I currently practice in Hood River, OR, and am available for remote consultation.
Structural Integration is a therapeutic method that involves the combination of several modalities. Treatments include myofascial release, traction, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue sculpting techniques that work together to realign structural imbalances. I practice in a way that is gentle, working with your body, not against it, to realign the whole body by releasing chains of restriction along the fascial train system. These techniques go far beyond the traditional philosophy of the fascial system, as practiced by Rolfing therapists. I include work in the viscera that can be incredibly effective in realigning your body; this style of treatment is often more gentle and profound than Rolfing sessions, and can create change in a fraction of the time. I currently practice in Hood River, OR and am available for remote consultation.
Toyohari Japanese Meridian Therapy is a way for your body to achieve a greater flow within the meridian system through non insertion acupuncture and bio current acupressure techniques. This treatment is very gentle and works to harmonize and balance your internal and external energy meridians. It is an elaboration of traditional Reiki practice. I am currently seeing clients in person in Hood River, OR, and am available for distance Reiki energy healing and consultation.
